Description
The Anton de kom University of Suriname has been donated a solar plant system of 1.2MW with a Battery Energy Storage System of 500kWh through the UAE-CREF program.
The UAE-CREF is a partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar). ADFD fully finances the UAE-CREF.
This system will help contribute to sustainable green energy generation on the campus where the generated energy is self consumed and the solar plant to be used for educational purposes.
HSW Energy started in mid-March 2023 with the construction works of this PV plant which consists of 1860 pieces 650w Mono PERC PV modules spread over 2 locations northern and southern part which are connected to each other.
